About the show

Act II Playhouse in Ambler presents the Philadelphia-premiere of TIME STANDS STILL by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Donald Margulies.

TIME STANDS STILL follows Sarah and James, a photojournalist and a foreign correspondent trying to find happiness in a world gone crazy. Theirs is a partnership based on telling the toughest stories, and together, making a difference. But when their own story takes a sudden turn, the adventurous couple confronts the prospect of a more conventional life…and everything changes — in a flash. The New York Times says the play “crackles with bright wit and intelligence. The range of feeling TIME STANDS STILL explores is wide and deep.”

TIME STANDS STILL begins previews at Act II Playhouse on Feb. 14 and runs through March 11. For tickets and information, visit www.act2.org or call 215-654-0200.
